Forum CAPE brings together six to eight senior executives or business owners in a structured peer forum. The conversation is confidential. The preparation is required.
How it works
Each forum is a closed group of six to eight leaders at comparable stages in their careers. Members are drawn from different industries - deliberately, to reduce the risk of direct competition and to broaden the range of perspective brought to any given challenge.
Membership includes 31 hours of peer meetings across the year, plus one full-day annual retreat. Admission is ongoing rather than cohort-based, and new seats open roughly once a quarter, when there's room. Each meeting is structured around the presentation of one member: one person brings a real issue, a decision, a personnel situation, a strategic question, and the forum engages seriously. Not to solve the issue for the person, but to question it, surface what may have been overlooked, and offer the kind of perspective you do not get inside your own organization.

Membership is $9,000 a year, plus taxes.
That covers 31 hours of peer meetings across the year, one full-day annual retreat, and individual calls with Jean as needed, together valued at $15,225.
Members report an average direct return of 50% in the first year, roughly a quarter from improved performance, 15% from opportunities they acted on, and 10% from risks they avoided.
The membership fee may be deductible under Quebec's 1% training law.

Why the group stays small
It is not designed to scale.
A forum of six to eight people is not arbitrary. At that size, each member can bring a meaningful issue to a single meeting. The group is large enough to produce diverse perspectives, and small enough for relationships to deepen over time.
Larger groups produce networking events. Smaller groups produce therapy sessions. Six to eight people, with the right members, produce work.
Admission is by application and selection. When a position opens, current members are consulted on new candidates.

Members are generally presidents, business owners, or the people ultimately responsible for the organization they lead. They have moved beyond the early stages of leadership and have enough experience to contribute meaningfully to other people's issues.
The forum works best for leaders who are willing to be honest about what they do not know. If you come looking for validation, you will leave disappointed. If you come with a real issue, you will leave with something useful.
Positions are limited.
